You’ll be surprised what cars are up for auction on these lots. It’s great for car salesmen and dealerships. Majority of cars on the lot are from these exact auctions. The down fall is that you can’t test drive them at the auction, but they are inspected at the dealership before the price tag is issued.

I agree, it is very unfortunate to see someone’s car taken and put up for auction but there are people who can benefit from this and I’m glad you’ve posted on the topic to inform people how to best go about getting a car through one of these auctions

I’m looking into getting a car at an auction because I’ve been told that I can save a ton of money and it’s a better way to go than to a dealership. Do the funds need to paid in cash at an auction? Or can I work out a loan?

I remember when I was younger, I had my car towed and impounded for lack of payment on my parking tickets. It was to the point that they were telling me they were going to auction out my car. However, I came up with all the money in time and when I went in the impound to get it, I noticed all these great cars up for auction. There are surprisingly a lot of nice cars that people just failed to take care of when it comes down to paying their tickets. I’m sure you can find something you like. It’s mainly just a matter of how well it was taken care of and maintained.

This is great way to buy realy good car realy cheap, my husband bought two cars like that, Dodge Charger and Toyota Prius and he paid about 30% less than if he would buy it in regular way.
